Home Page![]() Earthrise, December 24, 1968 (NASA). Welcome!ClimateMice aims to provide accurate, reliable information on the earth's climate based on the science as well as covering the more light-hearted aspects of the subject in opinion pieces. We intend to be sceptical on the climate because science is inherently sceptical and we aim to be sceptical about the politicians because - because they are politicians! UK Parliament Climategate InquiryIf you interested in assisting with an online wiki to submit to the committee follow this climategate inquiry. Current StatusParadoxically, work on this wiki stopped after Climategate for the simple reason, that if you can't even trust the basic scientific data being produced it follows that everything reliant on that (including this wiki) is pretty much a waste of time. So it remains just as much "under construction" as it was the day climategate broke. Why ClimateMice?A long time ago the dinosaurs had a consensus that they ruled the world; today we, the descendants of the mice that ran about their feet stuff their descendants and eat them for dinner. But seriously, we chose ClimateMice with the idea that if everyone put their mouse to work then we would finally have a wiki that told the public the truth about the climate. MembershipUnfortunately, it is our experience that certain groups of well funded activists have made a point of taking over some well known wikis with the intention of preventing any of the evidence that contradicts their beliefs about the climate ever being known to the public. Whilst we welcome anyone who has an open mind on the subject and is willing to let all the evidence be heard, we have to restrict membership to those who have a proven record of respect for the views of others. How you can helpAdding to a wiki is relatively simple. If you want to know the mechanisms of editing just follow the link on the left to Test edits and try it out: the page is there for learning how to edit. If you want to help out, then for obvious reasons, you have to have a username and password. To register your username please email info <at> ClimateMice <dot> com giving your intended username, some information about yourself and your interest in the climate. |
